This course is an introductory level turbulence class. This content is offered as part of MIE Turbulence. The goal is to learn fundamental concepts and apply them. The motivation behind this project was the thought that there is a benefit in allowing students time to digest complex information as delivered in an introductory turbulence course. This allows students the possibility of reviewing content on their own. Sullivan plans to re-use the content in future terms and to offer the content openly online.

Upon successful completion of the degree requirements of both programs, students receive a Bachelor of Engineering degree and a Master of Engineering degree. The program may be taken mie uoft a full-time, extended full-time, or part-time basis.

On the mechanical engineering side, the areas include robotics, mechanics and design, materials, and thermofluids. From cars to medical devices, all design uses mechanical engineering principles.
