I went to Midas about 6 weeks ago for the first time. I appreciated this, but wanted to be sure before I authorized work to be done, as I am sure anyone would with conflicting information. It was clear we were being scammed! They then pulled my car out and asked me to see them in the parking lot away from the other customers in the Waiting area. Though I told them I don't remember it ever leaking, but they replaced when I went in mad. I needed a new muffler for my Mercury Sable. I left the premises and immediately called the district manager as I was instructed to do at the number provided by Michael. He had to finish fixing it and he would not leave the shop until it was completed correctly, no matter how long it would take. The X-Ray system on In-Drive says my check engine light is on, but it's not on on my dashboard in my car, so I highly suspect those shady mechanics turned it off. My rear suspension is shot.
