My first-grader and I attended a drop-in free craft session, called MakeBreakat Michaels craft store in Emeryville. She loved it and was extremely engaged.

This month as part of the Michaels Makers program, we were challenged to try something new creatively! For this challenge, we decided to get our kiddos involved. Most of the classes are free and you can try out a new craft skill for just the cost of supplies. For this class, they were making these cute pendant banners for Summer! The kids thought it would be fun to make them with their names on them and it was a huge hit! They were so excited to have some crafting time with us and Michaels made it so easy for that to happen.
