Mephiles the Dark pronounced "Meh-fill-iss" and thought to be named after the demon in German folklore, Mephistophiles is the primary antagonist of Sonic the Hedgehog Along with Iblis , Mephiles is a component half of Solaris , a hyperdimensional creature revered as the sun god of Soleanna. Princess Elise then goes back in time to annul the Solaris Project , which writes Mephiles the Dark out of the timeline by preventing the accident which first created him. Mephiles the Dark is unique among a majority of the villains in the Sonic series.

We all know Sonic 06 was a disaster, and it's story made little sense, and some of you not including me think the game sucked big-time, I made this topic to discuss about the character Mephiles the Dark or just Mephiles to some He was one of the three villains in Sonic 06 who added depth to Shadow's storyline, but I want you's all to talk about him,e. Personally, I liked him, even better, I loved his design, but personally, since he gets ressurected through other peoples shadows I woulda loved to see him copy other characters shadows and use them to full Shadow, woulda made a nice boss battle.
