The bread here is so good here that El Cenzontle orders their burger buns from La Baguette, which are made fresh daily. This little bakery serves it all — freshly-made baguettes, muffins, pizza slices, and even fresh coffee. The food is not only delicious, but the prices are affordable. The Oaxaca coast is still pretty unknown to tourists, so you can escape the crowds here and be treated to some of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico. My new favorite part of the coast are the adjacent towns of San Agustinillo and Mazunte, Oaxaca. They are so close you can walk between them in 10 minutes, and there are several beautiful beaches to enjoy, lots of good restaurants, dreamy hotels, and a peaceful beach vibe that is hard to find in touristy places. I was told we would see lots of turtles what the area is most known for and most likely dolphins. We saw plenty of both which was amazing in itself. But we were super lucky to see a giant whale as well.

We had a vague plan to spend Day of the Dead in Oaxaca City before heading to the coast to hit up some of the famous Oaxaca beaches. The avocado toast is huge, topped with lots of seeds, leaves, and cherry tomatoes with a fried egg on the side. Despite the lack of breeze, patrons can enjoy the vibrant atmosphere with music and cocktails that make up for it. As well as typical Oaxacan staples, you can try dishes found all over Mexico like chilaquiles and tacos. I would love to try some snorkeling or diving here if possible, catch a swim with the turtles.
