However, since the early s, the pool has been operated by Marbury Park Swimming Club who are a volunteer-run, not for profit, members club - who still run it today. The team says their aim is to keep the leisure facility and piece of 'local history open for the local community and those from further afield to enjoy'.

There has been an open air pool nestling within the grounds of Marbury Country Park near Northwich in Cheshire since the s. Originally built for the members of Marbury Hall Country Club, the pool was owned for many years by ICI for the use of their employees. Please note, entry to the pool is for members and their guests only and no day passes will be sold. The pool is set in lawned gardens and is surrounded by woodlands which both screen and shelter the pool and its users. The pool is unheated and features two diving boards — one is a springboard and the other is a platform board. There are picnic tables around the grounds and drinks and snacks can be bought at the small shop at the gate. Many are accessible by pram and wheelchair. There is also an extensive play area for children and you can feed the ducks on Marbury Mere. Also nearby is the Anderton Boat Lift which has a tea room, and Tatton Park, owned by the National Trust, is within easy driving distance. Adult Season Pass Membership. Our Adult Season Pass Membership gives you access to the pool all season sessions must be pre-booked PLUS 1 x car parking sticker per adult membership giving you free parking at Marbury Country Park during pool opening hours. Our Child Season Pass Membership gives you access to the pool all season sessions must be pre-booked.
