Makerist patterns
Berlin-based Makerist would love to work with more American crafters.
Makerist does add a thank you page before the pattern, but hasn't really changed anything that I noticed on my patterns. In fact I have some of my pattern photos watermarked and some not. I understand your concerns. The sale certainly did generate some sales for me. But if I join in on them all, I might not sell my patterns at regular prices later?

Jessie, who is very happy to be here!! That does look pretty good for a freebie I hadn't heard of So! Patterns before. Looks to be a German brand. There are some cute things on their site and they go up to a 4XL in some I quite like this shirt dress, totally loose fitting and would probably make a really good comfortable nightie actually! Just downloaded now, and it looks a really nice pattern. I don't wear dresses very often, but it's always useful to have one in the wardrobe. Good size range, just got to figure out how the sizes work out. Thanks Jane!

So, during February, Makerist and My Fabrics are running a Valentines challenge over on Instagram and the idea is that you create a sketch or mood board of your dream Valentines Day outfit. My Fabrics are a fab online fabric seller with a really wide range of dressmaking and home wear fabrics, knitting supplies and haberdashery. Not being the best at drawing or sketching, I decided to create myself a mood board of inspiration for my dream outfit. Soon, as is the way with Pinterest, I was drawn down the rabbit hole of looking at pretty dress after pretty dress. There were loads of lovely outfits over there but my top three were definitely these.
Erikka Slipover is worked seamlessly top down. First, the slipover is worked in rows while the shoulders are shaped with short rows. Thereafter, the body is worked in the round. Front and back are then divided and are finished separately. Decreases are worked at the front piece for a better fit. You pick up stitches for the ribbing around the slipovers neckline that is worked in the round. Erikka Slipover can be worked in 3 lengths, which result from the different lengths of armhole openings and 2 neckline variations. The short version can only be worked with a narrow neckline.

For my own patterns, I'd just mostly feel bad for those people who purchased at regular price, to see something they bought go on sale.
