CyclingDiscard this card: Draw a card. Whenever a nontoken creature enters the battlefield under an opponent's control, create a token that's a copy of that creature except it's an artifact in addition magic the gathering faeries its other types. Meddling fae or faerie pathlighters are fickle white-aligned faeries that can't resist meddling in human lives. Their large, white wings become more translucent toward the edges. Motes of magical light drift around their heads, and a faint white aura surrounds their bodies.

Faeries in Magic: The Gathering has a long history of disrupting your opponents and playing tricks to get their way. Mostly sticking to blue and black, the most popular Faerie commanders are those who either reward you for having as many Faeries in play as possible, or who punish your opponents with an army of creatures. As an archetype, Faeries gives you a wide range of spells, mechanics, and design concepts to work with, making it a very versatile archetype depending on the commander. Giving you access to both green and white mana, two colors not typically associated with Faeries in Magic, Rubinia Soulsinger gives you a chance to take a unique approach with your Faerie-themed deck. Rubinia has the ability to tap to steal a creature your opponent controls, letting you hang on to it for as long as you control Rubinia and she stays tapped. One of the strangest commanders to ever be released, Ivy Gleeful Spellthief takes your single target spells and lets you spread the love a bit. If you cast a spell that targets a creature other than Ivy, you make a copy of it and target Ivy with it. With Ivy, you generally build it as a very different Voltron-style deck, casting a bunch of enchantments and single-target spells and turning them into two-for-ones by making sure you target someone other than Ivy.

Flying, ward. Against mono-colored decks, Oona can quickly wreck a player's game by removing all sorts of powerful cards they might be hoping to draw while steadily pumping out more and more tokens.
