Weblearn is the University's Virtual Learning Environment VLE where students can find learning resources such as lecture notes, reading materials, discussion forums, quizzes and online submission tools. All students will be able to login to Weblearn as soon as they london met weblearn their London Met IT account details, london met weblearn. Modules you are registered on for your course will become available on your Modules page one week before the start of teaching.

A list of software is available which will help you in studying remotely and using online tools. Please provide your student ID number and the nature of the issue and contact details. Weblearn is our virtual learning environment and is a secure area full of resources you'll need for your studies. In this video, we will talk you through what it is and how to access it, with a brief run-through of what it looks like and how to get started. Once you're fully enrolled on both your course and all your individual modules, the resources open to you will become more extensive, so get familiar with it early on so you don't miss out on any essential learning, classes, reading, assignments or deadlines. Blackboard is the brand name that we call Weblearn, so don't worry if you see the terms used interchangeably. Blackboard Collaborate is a bolt-on to Blackboard, which is essentially a virtual classroom used frequently for live lectures, workshops, tutorials and meetings - should you need to attend one during the year. Many lecturers use this to pre-record material too and these are posted on the relevant section of a module page on Weblearn as part of your learning resources for you to view whenever you need them.
