I routinely get large loan documents pages that contain pages from outside sources, usually a bank. In the middle of printing the file the printer stops when it gets to these outside documents and asks me to "Load Tray 1 with Plain RA4 paper.

I always have many problems with this printer HP Pro mdw. It shows Load tray 1 Plain A4. All the paper tray are set up for letter size, and I also shut down and turn on the printer many times. It didn't fix my printer problem. If your paper trays are set to Letter Size paper and your printer is asking for A4 size, Check your print driver paper size preference settings. I used to work with "production printers" basically, really fast printers that can e. That might eliminate any driver or software issues and point to hardware. Have you tried to check the print settings? Document dimensions and orientation do not have to match printer paper dimensions or orientation. Make sure tray 2 is set for the actual paper loaded.
