Three quarters of the ground have been re-developed over the years greatly improving the overall look. The ground is totally enclosed, with the three new sides being two tiered. HectorTheTaxman , Jul 12, For anyone heading toward the M74 or eastwards it's always best to park somewhere off Tollcross Road, I would always say somewhere around the bus depot as there are always free spaces and it's only about 10 minute walk and you are far enough away from the ground to not get stuck in the worst of the congestion, that was always the issue with the Lisbon Lions car park, ok a 2 minute walk but sometimes half an hour to get out just to get onto the start of London or Tolcross Road, particularly big games. Plans have been unveiled for a new music and events venue to be built right next to the home ground of the Scottish champions. Drawings show that the site is to be developed on the vacant land next to London Road, including part of Dalriada Street. The car park that the Lisbon Lions stand backs onto would be in between the stadium and the new venue. Glasgow City Council previously approved a proposal for a venue with a capacity of people but the latest designs include space for people. Music and weddings would be high on the venue's list of functions, with corporate dinners and fashions shows also included.
