Scar was the formerly younger brother of Mufasa , the uncle of Simba , granduncle of Kiara and Kion, and the brother-in-law of Sarabi. He is also the main antagonist of Season 2 ahead of Kiburi , Janja , and Ushari. He returns for Season 3 as the main antagonist of the opener Battle for the Pride Lands , in which he is defeated, but ultimately serving as a catalyst for the events of the remainder of the season, appearing as a hallucination to Kion in one episode. Unlike other known lions in the Pride Lands Scar had a dark orange deep brown in one painting coat with a sleek, thick, darker black mane and a light hair tuft on his chin. He had a triangular face and a pale muzzle and underbelly.
