Very nicely detailed hardbox first issue from and an excellent effort from Lindberg. With this kit, Lindberg exceeded Pyro's best efforts in this scale. The model features a full rolling chassis build just like the real car, detailed engine, complete exhaust, driveline, detailed front and rear suspension, full interior, removable hood, separately molded 'whitewall' inserts, rear trunk rack and more. Never started. It has been inventoried complete with all parts and includes instructions. Still factory sealed. Molded in colored plastic, clear, chrome plate and with rubber tires. From the very early s issue with Ray Gaedke artwork and the 39 cent price extension on the kit number. The original molds were cut by Trim Model Products in the early to mid s. Trim sold them in bags or in hardboxes, but eventually decided to leave the plastic model business and sold the molds to Lindberg in the early s. The kit has never been started. While a simple kit, it does have very good interior and realistic lines. The actual car has been inventoried with all plastic parts and instructions present.
