In June, we took a day trip to northeast Alabama. Marie wanted to buy a new tablet from the Unclaimed Baggage Center in Scottsboro, and saved her pennies for a couple of months so that she could get one for really cheap.

Really good home cooked breakfast. Very nice staff and even when it's crowded it's not that long a wait. Stopped by here on Sunday on the way home from a weekend trip to Scottsboro, Alabama. It was one of the only restaurants around, just on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. We would've Dropped in at Liberty Restaurant.

They called it chicken and dressing. Came out runny and disgusting. Asked for bacon well done. As we were leaving they convinced to take some fresh pie with us. The carrots cake was great. The banana cake was completely burned on the bottom and sides and hard. Can't believe anyone would serve that. We were put up into a hotel close by Liberty restaurant and the staff was absolutely pleasant to both me and brother.

Good old fashioned bacon cheeseburger, freshly cooked and served hot with fries. Had the truly homemade Banana Pudding for dessert. Recommended for those who like finding the hidden gems. We went around the square and POOm, there it was in a corner.

We actually didn't miss their breakfast time we got there about 5 minutes before they quit serving breakfast but they had quit serving breakfast.
