Letterboxd surpasses Goodreads in almost every way: user experience, functionality, aesthetics, not being owned by Amazon… and while Goodreads members outnumber Letterboxd users ten-to-one, surely the potential is there — how many people do you know who watched a movie in letterboxd for books last month? How many who read a book? And which do people talk about more?

Letterboxd has been around forever, and is a popular way to track and review movies. Trackt is another option here, and if you prefer that, I recommend Cinema Time , but the concept is similar. I almost never leave a written review, but you totally could if you want. Hat tip to Timothy Huneycutt for the idea. This one is a little harder to explain, but the concept is the same as Letterboxd.
