This grand but short-lived building on the Headrow was the city's first dedicated corn hall. But this distinctive rotunda, built between and , isn't the city's first dedicated corn hall. Its predecessor, on The Headrow , is far less famous perhaps because it wasn't around for very long. That's not to say Leeds' first Corn Exchange was insignificant.
