A popular charity is the first square to be revealed on the forthcoming Royal Leamington spa monopoly board Spa edition of the world famous board game Monopoly. Warwick Myton Hospice will be a community chest square on the edition of the game, which will be officially launched in the town on October When Winning Moves UK announced it was producing the edition earlier this year it asked townspeople to put forward suggestions for landmarks and places which could be used for the squares on the board. What's more, the public now has the chance to decide and shape the board during a two-week period of consultation in which any and all landmarks and locations can be suggested for inclusion. Our town is famous for its fabulous Regency architecture and outstanding parks. It became a fashionable watering place in late Georgian England and is still a building of beauty today.

We were honoured to be the first charity and organisation to be announced for the brand new board game. When it was announced earlier this year that Leamington was getting its very own Monopoly board game, the local community were asked to send in nominations and suggestions for landmarks and organisations to feature. Our community and supporters rallied behind us and voted for us to have a square! Thank you so much to everyone who nominated Myton! I very much hope that the new edition not only captures our rich history, beautiful parks and buildings, but also the highly creative, innovative and culturally diverse town we see today.
