I read online about Peelaway but cannot find many instructions about what precautions need taking when using it.

I am repairing some doors and door frames and using a scraper to take off layers of gloss and water based paint that has been used over damaged surfaces. I am now concerned because I am revealing black paint underneath which I worry could be lead based. Does anyone know whether this is likely to be lead? Should I be worried? Bloody relieved to see this comment. Was afraid to even open it in case I had to leave home immediately. I have just been to leyland.
