With a talented team working alongside, Lavina Good is getting ready to launch her latest charitable event — the Food For Thought rescue food extravaganza taking place in Tauranga next month. Using unwanted yet perfectly edible food collected from supermarkets and cafes, business teams — with supervision from Toi Ohomai chefs — will be whisking up an array of street food delights for the public to taste. Te Aranui Youth Trust TAYT works with young people who may be struggling at home or school and provides mentors and programmes to help them make good life choices. It was a surprise, therefore, to be greeted with a friendly hug; even more so to be asked about myself, the interviewer. On top of that, the passion she once had for her role was dwindling, and while she waited for her flight home that weekend in , she read an article about Kaibosh, a food rescue service in Wellington.

We came for breakfast and absolutely loved it. I had the smoothie bowl and my boyfriend had the poached eggs and avocado on toast. Both were fresh and delicious as were the chai lattes. The staff were friendly and service was quick and efficient. Warm environment, helpful staff and delicious vegan food. Hot golden latte is the most amazing beverage i ever had. Loved it. We recently visited Amsterdam and came across this gem of a cafe. The food was outstanding! We were so impressed we went back a couple of times.

Soup En Zo - Nieuwe Spiegelstraat. Cons: only 4 options vegan fxcl sweets, pricey at least for a german GDR dude. Overall it was really tasty! Nice place with plenty of choice! Enjoyed a vegan chocolate hot milk. Als toetje nam ik nog even een heerlijke vegan brownie. Overall great experience though. Wel jammer, het egg plant gerechtje was uitverkocht, maar gelukkig genoeg andere dingen. Open Mon-Fri , Sat-Sun Pros: Friendly staff, Choice of non-dairy milk. Pleasant lunchtime experience.
