Kodiak bear vs silverback gorilla
Animal duels have always been fascinating. We often forget how powerful some animals can be until we see them get in a fight with another fierce creature.
The bear won't be easy to take down, but I think the silverback can pull it off. I believe they're smarter and they have longer reach with their arms. This isn't even close IMO the bear is just to big and has too many weapons and is more durable with layers of fat. The gorillas only chance is using a club or something but even then one swipe from the bear is severe damage or a one shot. I think the dextereity and mobility along with the strength and vastly superior unless im mistaken intelligence of the gorilla is just too much. The bear would definitely hurt, but the gorilla would do more damage.

There are some things in life that are just blatantly black and white, like evolutionism vs. In theory, if a full grown kodiak bear were to fight a mature silverback gorilla in a battle to the death, who would win? The kodiak bear is a subspecies of brown bear that lives in the kodiak archipelago of southwest Alaska, and is known to be the largest of the brown bear species. Kodiaks can weigh as much as 1, pounds and grow to be over ten feet tall. The bears are regarded as the largest known carnivores on the planet, however, most of their diet consists of berries and grass. To that end, their killer instincts may be severely lacking. Over the past 75 years, only one person every other year is injured by a kodiak bear, and there has only been one reported death. Gorillas are native to Central Africa and are currently an endangered species, with only around mountain gorillas remaining in the wild. Eating a mainly herbivorous diet comprised of leaves and fruit, with some small animals like caterpillars and ants, these beasts have small hind legs, and an extremely large upper body. In the years since Jane Goodall started to study Mountain Gorillas, no humans have been murdered but many are injured every year in zoo accidents like the famous case of Harambe at the Cincinnati Zoo. Gorillas are known to be smart and have been observed to use simple tools as well as have a primitive language to communicate and teach. For a fair fight, both animals would need to be out of their natural habitats and in an aggressive mood.
Maybe the gorilla could get behind the grizzly and get on its back. To those saying the Gorilla would win what are you basing this on?
Which animal would more likely survive if they fought until one was dead? Best educated guess Omega Vision Bear. Stoic Originally posted by Omega Vision Bear. I've had this same debate with friends in the past, and most thought that the Gorrilla would win. I tend to agree with you on everything that you wrote, but there is also one more factor that you didn't add. The size ratio.
I always found the power and majesty of large animals fascinating. In a hypothetical matchup of a Kodiak bear vs a silverback gorilla, the Kodiak bear would likely have the upper hand due to its larger size and strength. Kodiak bears can weigh up to 1, lbs and stand up to 9. While gorillas are incredibly strong for their size, the sheer physical size and strength of the Kodiak bear give it an advantage. Kodiak bears are significantly larger than gorillas, with adult males weighing up to 1, lbs, and standing up to 9. In contrast, silverback gorillas weigh up to lbs and reach about 6 ft in height. Despite their size difference, gorillas are incredibly strong, and capable of lifting 1, lbs, which is nearly their body weight.

Welcome, fellow nature enthusiasts! Who would emerge victorious in such an epic showdown? To answer briefly: A fight between a silverback gorilla and a grizzly bear would favor the grizzly due to its size, strength, and formidable claws. While gorillas are strong and intelligent, grizzlies have the advantages of weight, power, and natural predatory instincts.

And if the grizzly is truly huge as we are assuming in this example? There's no way a gorilla can lift two sedans, unless it's king kong. I had s stupid moment. Originally posted by Omega Vision I bet you're one of those people who doesn't give a damn about fishing though. I have no problem assuming a gorilla can deadlift we can assume deadlift lbs, so that means they are about 2 times as strong as the strongest person the max deadlift is now over lbs. Much of a bear's weight is muscle. But for now, I'm still gonna bet on Yogi. Originally posted by Omega Vision He's not a stupid redneck. The Thunderdome! Kodiak bears and gorillas are two very tough animals that inspire awe in those who see them. Both of them are easy to identify and both are dangerous in their own way, especially if you get on their bad side.
He HAS to get past the claws and get off a killing blow before getting mauled or get out of reach. As I already told before, A Grizzly Bear has a fatal set of claws. The tiger, Lion, gorilla, alligator, crocodile, elephant and rino would have already died!! But I edited the post later on after checking the info. Gorilla's teeth are like humans and they do not have massive canines. The gorilla is just simply made that way. No, I meant a chimp weighing 45 kg could do it. In the years since Jane Goodall started to study Mountain Gorillas, no humans have been murdered but many are injured every year in zoo accidents like the famous case of Harambe at the Cincinnati Zoo. This is a response to the post below. Btw they do have the strength to crush a bears skull, chest cavity and torso. They're smart and they wouldn't employ those same tactics against a bear, as it would be a disadvantage considering the bear's massive weight advantage. Silver back has 4 hands and from a standing position can change tactics with 4 hands and standing leaping ability.
Also that we would do without your magnificent idea
