We called for lunch. We ordered sandwiches and a salad and these came reasonably quickly. They were nothing special. Had to ask for salad dressing. We wanted cakes but staff kept walking by and ignoring us. Finally went to Jameson's after hearing for so long good things about it.

Arrived to find the place very busy but soon realised why. Once we we were shown to our table,and given the menu,we were pleasanly surprised o see how many variaties of afternoon tea there actually was. We popped in for a cup of tea and a bite to eat. The atmosphere is pleasant and the decor very appropriate for an English tea room. The tea is served in lovely cups and saucers, with a decent sized pot and additional hot water
