One Piece's Red-haired Shanks is one of the most intriguing characters in the entire story. Introduced to the fans in the very first chapter of the series, Shanks has had somewhat of a limited role in the role cisco apic. Although his importance to the plot remains paramount, is shanks strong, Eiichiro Oda is yet to show the fans what is shanks strong man is capable of and what role he'll play in the story going forward. So far, Shanks has made some big appearances in some of the arcs and, being as loved as he is, made a huge impact on the fans.

Then after 10 years, with only one arm left, he is been visited by Mihawk on an island. We all know Mihawk is the best swordsman in the One Piece world. Also then he demonstrates that he can take a blow from the strongest Yonko. During the Wano Country Arc, he released a massive burst of Haoshoku Haki that paralyzed Admiral Ryokugyu, who was near the Flower Capital; whereas Shanks never left the Red Force, which was miles outside of Wano, stopping him in his tracks without needing to step foot into the country. Jinbe stated that such a display of Haki was monstrous. His card says that Benn is incredible powerful in terms of physical combat. Lucky Roo and Yasopp have each won their own fame as well. It was not revealed which member of the Red Hair Pirates crew cut his arm. So Shanks challenged everyone after the war: the three Admirals, the Fleet Admiral, overshadowed old school player Garp, Blackbeard who had the strongest Logia and strongest Paramecia , but yet no one stepped forward!

So far, he has had very limited appearances and usually, fans get to see him react to Luffy climbing up the ladder of piracy. On rare occasions, such as Marineford, Shanks became a presence important enough to stop the Paramount War with his mere presence, making fans wonder how strong he actually is. Over a decade after the Marineford war arc, fans still haven't seen a glimpse of what he is capable of in combat, however, with the story closer to its end than ever, the answers might not be too far away now.

The person who inspired Luffy to become a pirate is Shanks. Shanks is currently the strongest Conqueror Haki user in the One Piece series. Shanks is the emperor of the sea whose power level is equal to that of Kaido, Big Mom, and Black Beard. He leads the Red-Haired Pirates , whose strength is based on the pure raw power of Haki. His crew excels in using Haki; the most prominent user in his crew is Ben Beckman and Yasopp. At some point in time, Roger gave Shanks his Straw Hat.
