I was originally going to a town centre venue I thought was ripe for reappraisal, but as the day got hotter and hotter I realised I needed something cooler and subtler. And even with a fan going full whack in the corner the room was distinctly on the warm side. The fridge off to one side was full of Ramune, the Japanese soda with a marble in the neck of the bottle, and other soft drinks. And there was a space where you might see boxes of pre-made sushi, but none were on display.
