Later in the day, police responded to a house fire 30 kilometres across the city in Innaloo, where the body of Luke Noormets, 33, was found. Police said the two were a former couple and have been investigating whether the deaths were the result of a murder-suicide. Police remained at both crime scenes on Friday, with flowers left outside Ms Lyall's home in a newly established housing estate.
