The Inbetweeners returns for a much anticipated second series, promising just as many embarrassing mishaps and failed seduction attempts as the British Comedy Award winning first series. The show continues where the first series left off-centred around Will, Simon, Jay and Neil, our four hapless heroes at Rudge Inbetweeners series Comprehensive, inbetweeners series, all desperately trying to work out how to be cool. The series is narrated by Will, who is the programme's central character. The first series consists of six episodes, starting with the first episode "First Day", which was shown on E4 on 1 May , and ran until 29 May The boys go to a Friday night house party which is quickly deemed boring, but are left shocked when Charlotte Hinchcliffe , the most attractive and popular girl in the school, shows up with her friends and begins conversing with Will. They soon engage in heavy petting , but the experience is short-lived as Charlotte's psychopathic ex -boyfriend Mark Donovan shows up, forced to leave when Charlotte insists their relationship is over for good. Before he leaves, Donovan demands that Will treat Charlotte with respect, dubbing her kind and gentle, before threatening violence against him if he tells anyone he said that.

The first episode of the comedy series about four teenagers growing up in suburbia. A world of crushes, sibling brawls and getting drunk too quickly. Puerile adult humour with strong language. Will, Simon, Jay and Neil bunk off school. They head to Neil's house to get drunk, where Simon has a vodka-induced romantic revelation about his childhood sweetheart. The boys set off on their first road trip in Simon's new car for a day out at Thorpe Park. Once inside the pleasure park however, Will soon wishes they had never come. Will finds out that going to a mixed sex school isn't too bad after all as he pulls the most popular girl in the year above. The boys call Jay's bluff and agree to go to the Camber Sands meeting of the Caravan Club to see if it really is 'like a massive orgy'. It's the end of term and Will has been voted the chairman of the Christmas prom committee.
