Due to the Covid pandemic period that the education world has faced recently, many higher education institutions in the world and also in Turkey have had to make a rapid and unprepared transition to emergency distance education. In this process, the courses planned and conducted within the framework of the distance education system under normallife conditions have started to be given via recordings under the name of emergency distance education during the Covid period. In order to understand the efficiency of courses, this study aims to examine the views of the Open Education Faculty students regarding the online live course recordings offered in English courses during the Covid period. In the study, which was designed with the survey model, a webbased questionnaire was applied to students with A1 and A2 English levels registered in the Open Education Faculty OEF. Quantitative data obtained for the study were analyzed using descriptive statistical procedures such as frequency and percentage analysis. According to the findings of the research, learners who try to complete the A1-A2 level English courses remotely within Anadolu University Open Education Faculty had positive educational experiences regarding the lessons taught during the pandemic period. In this context, the study compiles the views on technical, educational and psychological factors that affect OEF students' comprehension of the recorded lessons, and suggestions are presented for future studies.
