Most guests come here to unwind and there are a good number of features to help them in that, including spa treatments, sophisticated restaurants, and extensive child-friendly activities. That being said, there isn't really anything else to do within an easy walk of the hotel. With over acres of parkland, gardens and brand new all-weather path to enjoy, Ickworth is the perfect place to get back to nature. Enjoy the treasures within Ickworth; Georgian silver, Regency furniture, Old Masters and family portraits by famous artists such as Gainsborough and Hogarth. Or why not go further? Wander down to our Walled Garden dating to Tudor times. Perhaps you are feeling more adventurous and want to follow one of the many trails and cycle rides into the wider park spanning acres. Each year Ickworth hosts a number of special events including our annual Wool Fair in June and Wood Fair in October and in December, the servant quarters are transformed for our magical Christmas Sparkle event, with Ickworth being visited by Father Christmas himself. Day visitors will require an admission ticket to access the Estate, giving you entry to all areas open on the day of your visit as per our opening times.
