During our first Gay Cruise with La Demence we finally had the chance to spend a whole day on the Spanish island in the Mediterranean Sea. Our shore leave of The Cruise Ship cruising around southern Spain started at noon with a bus trip to Es Cavallet Beach, the Gay Beach of Ibiza, where we could enjoy the turquoise blue Mediterranean Sea, sexy bearded gay men, and a delicious lunch at Chiringay Restaurant. We had the chance to take beautiful and, of course, sexy photos of handsome men and the unique architecture of Ibiza to inspire you for your Gay Travel Ibiza to Spain. But as you can imagine, one day is not enough for this popular European island. Unsurprisingly, the biggest Balearic island made it again on our travel list for a summer break in the sun. Ibiza is one of 4 Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean, 50 miles from the coast of Spain. Ibiza is a small island, however the main towns are spread out from each-other. Hire a car or scooter if you want to explore beyond where you are staying. The towns themselves are easy to walk around. It costs EUR 30 approximately to get from one town to the next. Most of the gay bars in Ibiza are located in Ibiza town. The town retains its medieval city walls and is home to most of the best sights and attractions on the Island. Ibiza town is also the most convenient place to stay. Large parts of the island are protected from development, so if you need to get away from the crowds there are always places to enjoy eye-popping vistas in solitude. If you like to enjoy a beautiful gay beach but, at the same time, be close to the city center, then Ses Figueretes beach is the good place see location here.
Officially a nudist beach, this sandy Playa Es Cavallet beach gets busy around noon, with a party atmosphere kicking in from around 4pm in front of the restaurant. Plenty of sun loungers and shades are available to rent, and an 'at seat' drinks and snacks service is provided by Chiringay. Immediately behind the beach are bushy dunes that are popular cruising spots in their own right. There are two ways to get to Es Cavallet: Drive. Or take a bus from Ibiza Town. Previously, it was possible to take the boat from Figueretas Beach, but this service is no longer available. Peak season is July and August. However, June, September and early October are great months to visit, with plenty of sunshine and a much more relaxed and chilled-out vibe, and the beach still attracts hundreds of gay sunbathers. The further along the beach you wander, the less crowded it becomes and you'll also stumble upon a nudist area that is free of sunbeds and a little more overgrown. Let us know in the comments!
