The Hyundai Santa Fe's boxy new shape pays dividends on the inside, as Hyundai says that the new model has more cargo space and passenger room than before. We tested that claim for ourselves and measured exactly how much stuff fits inside the redesigned Santa Fe's cargo area. And the answer is: a lot. With all the seats folded, the Santa Fe held 34 carry-on suitcases in our testing—seven whole suitcases more than the previous-gen Santa Fe could accommodate.
