Alongside this, players can host their own custom servers, some of which have grown massive. One of these is the Hypixel Skyblock server, hypixel skyblock update.

Welcome to SkyBlock Patch 0. This update contains permanent Spooky content in the form of The Great Spook, several additions and changes to Essence Shops, and much more! This year, the arcane master known as the Tyashoi Alchemist re-emerges from the veil of mystery to aid players in banishing The Great Spook! In a shocking twist, The Great Spook will unleash its terror on the 6th day, once all new hunts are completed. Turns out, the Tyashoi Alchemist is actually terrible at his job; he may have actually accelerated the arrival of The Great Spook! These entities are simple to defeat but beware—they can manifest as YOUR primal fear. Donating enough Dark Candies to Vargul will unlock various new items. Good luck, and don't get spooked! As part of this update, the final two essence shops will be making their long-awaited appearance. In addition, several changes have been made that will make other essences easier to get and also add a few new perks to existing shops.

Today the Blazing Fortress is emerging from its chrysalis, finally born anew in the form of the Crimson Isle. Many memories were forged on this island but it is time for new stories to be told. Centuries of eruptions from the Volcano turned this island into this infernal landscape. The island inhabitants regrouped into two opposing factions on each side of the Volcano. While their relations have been mostly peaceful since the treaty, trouble is starting to brew on the island. Near the island entrance, you'll find Elle of the Nether in a predicament.

Small changes and bugfixes regarding the Great Spook event. Including fixing New Year Cakes being claimable more than once. Also fixed multiple bugs. Many changes to the Bestiary system, with some more minor QOL changes to Fishing, the Experimentation Table, and some interfaces, commands, items, and rewards. Added a entity limiter, fixed 12 item types from not giving skill XP when collected from minions, and several bug fixes. Revamps and additions to many systems throughout the game. Skill levels , Redstone Meter and Dark Auction added. This system is active, even if you do not equip the pet! Leaping , Pigman and Golem Sword abilities buffed. Added Chill the Fish as a catchable drop in the Main Lobby fishing for a limited time. Over bug fixes. Added the Spooky Festival.
