Text description provided by the architects. The beautiful towers possess a sense of movement created by the gentle curves of the continuous balconies. These balconies vary in width in a pattern that alternates from floor to floor, producing a ripple effect and visually linking the buildings to the nearby water and limiting balcony overshadowing. The disposition of glazed areas within the apartments was carefully calculated to maximize daylight and views. This also minimizes artificial lighting and unnecessary heating and cooling systems. The Western Tower offers further residential amenities in the form of a lounge and gym, while the Eastern Tower is fitted with business facilities and a commercial unit that links to the adjacent Royal Docks. Carbon emissions at Hoola London are dramatically reduced by an innovative energy-sharing agreement using the excess heat from the CHP plant of the adjacent ExCeL London exhibition center, thus eliminating the necessity of on-site provisions.

Built on the site of the old Royal Victoria Dock, Hoola is a stunning new property development that, like its predecessor, dominates the Thames shoreline near the Olympic Park. It is well connected, too, as residents wishing to enjoy the shopping and dining facilities of Westfield Stratford need only travel half a dozen stops on the DLR. Apartments here range from studio to one, two and three bedroom units and all provide residents with panoramic views from fluidly designed balconies. Apart from the inspiring sight of the Thames and O2 Arena, there is also the ingeniously landscaped grounds that are a combination of tasteful horticulture and dramatic water features. The interiors are flawlessly finished using high quality materials and workmanship to great effect. On-site amenities include a gym, business suite and concierge service. Other, more leisurely forms of transport are the Emirates Cable Car service, which crosses the river to Greenwich and the Thames Clipper River Bus which departs from there to Docklands and Central London.
