Started by I like pie , October 23, I just had an unusual sale from my Ebay account for a slab from who appears to be the VP of Heritage. Is this something they typically do? Buy books on the bay and flip them through their auctions? Can't speak to that particular person but many of the people who work at Heritage are also fans and collectors.

This was, by far, the most successful comics auction ever held. The four-day event was, in every sense, a tale to astonish: Nearly 6, bidders from around the world participated in the auction. The final number was split almost evenly between comic books and original art. Three months later they came prepared to go to the mat for the exceptional items, of which there were many. Some were just waiting for the right time to sell, and the results confirm that their timing was impeccable.
