On safety —Unlike many cafes in Morocco, our staff all understand what gluten free means, and they are trained in the seriousness of celiac disease. I had read about this cafe. One of only a small number in Marrakesh offering gluten free options as well as vegan and vegetarian. I had breakfast of lentil pancake with scrambled egg, cheese and Mediterranean salad. Guests can choose from over designs in our catalog, and relax in our comfortable, safe building located in the heart of the ancient medina of Marrakech. We are located just a 3 minute walk from Djemaa el Fna, on the street that leads to all of the major attractions in the central and southern medina. We serve traditional Moroccan dishes as well as fusion, gluten free, vegan and vegetarian cuisine. We offer indoor dining as well as dining on two terraces, and we are proud to serve good food at honest prices. Our wifi is free, and we have many times been described as an oasis of calm in the middle of the chaos that is the medina! The walls of our cafe are chock full of original art, created right here on the premises. Our gift shop features small, easily transported art pieces as well. I visited Marrakech Henna Art Cafe in September when it seemed most of the vegan friendly restaurants in Marrakech were closed, at least temporarily. Pros: Good value, Free wifi.
