Hemiptera en casa

ISSN Pine-oak forests of Chiapas have been exposed for centuries to a low magnitude but high frequency of human disturbance regime, resulting in a fragmented forest landscapes that probably have impact on structure and composition of insect communities. In this study the community of Heteroptera was described in 3 secondary forest of pine-oak with different historical disturbance regimen. The insects were sampled with sweep net at 18 plots, and the Hill numbers were calculated as estimators of Heteroptera diversity. At each plot was recorded the presence of extraction of soil, wood, firewood, and solid waste. We grouped the insect by size and trophic class, as an approximation to functionality of Heteroptera community. A highest abundance and species richness was found in the secondary forest with intermediate disturbance level.

Herbivore natural enemies base their foraging decision on information cues from different trophic levels but mainly from plant odors. However, the second trophic level i. We have evaluated the role of the aggregation pheromone from Frankliniella occidentalis Pergande as a potential kairomone for its natural enemy, the predatory bug Orius laevigatus Fieber. For this purpose, we have analyzed the response of O. These compounds have been offered to O. None of the compounds attracted adults or nymphs when they were individually supplied. Conversely, they were significantly attracted to both adults and nymphs when offered as a blend. A These results suggest that specific blends of these compounds from the aggregation pheromone may be used as an attractant to O. The results of this work highlight the importance of studying olfactory responses of natural enemies for a better understanding of their foraging behavior. Potential uses of these results in future studies are discussed.

Hemipteroid insects constitute a major fraction of insect diversity, comprising three orders and over , described species. We used a comprehensive sample of the diversity of this group involving genome-scale datasets and sequences from 2, genes to uncover the evolutionary tree for these insects and provide a timescale for their diversification. Our results indicated that thrips Thysanoptera are the closest living relatives of true bugs and allies Hemiptera and that these insects started diversifying before the Carboniferous period, over million years ago.

The Hemiptera True Bugs is the largest and by far the most successful of the Hemimetabolic insects having young that look like wingless adults and a sort of metamorphosis that does not involve a pupa. There are at least 80, named species and probably many more. Traditionally they are divided into two groups: the Heteroptera and the Homoptera Sternorrhyncha, and Auchenorrhyncha based basically on wing structure.

Most of the diversification of the Hemiptera started in the late Paleozoic Upper Permian , and the major lineages diverged early in the Mesozoic Triassic. Regrettably, some key fossils come from beds of uncertain age.
A review of the Cimicidae of importance in public health is presented. The small body and color pattern of the tegmina are diagnostic characters. Tegmina unornamented or ornamented with a red, orange, or yellow line that partially or completely surrounds each tegmen. This is the first complete compilation of the Cercopidae recorded for Mexico. Neaenus varius might be associated in habitats with low deciduous forest or sub-deciduous forest near the small town of Cayacal, in the coast of Guerrero, and to oak forest, low deciduous forest and sub-deciduous forest in the Sierra Madre del Sur, between Chilpancingo and Almoloya Semarnat-Conafor, e. In addition, Bates , and Maes and Robleto reported that H. Taddel M. Since the species are sympatric, identification might be difficult. Barrera, A.
