Swapping that 2K7 for a 5K pot would probably make a useful fuzz control. Now this really got me interested. But my desk is full Jimiphoton's video on DIY forum is pretty great, so I might have to try this one day. No diodes involved at all dropping the voltage from 9v to 1. It's voltage divider, that drops it from 9V to 1,5V. Don't know what it does to the current consumption though. I plan on using your layouts to make these.

If you'd prefer to just use an AA battery then you can omit the 10K and 2K resistors on the right hand side and take the supply directly to the top row. Post by pinkjimiphoton » 17 Sep , screw it, i can't get this page to embed the damn video Post by ljn » 25 Feb , The u filter capacitor at the bottom right will also need moving to go between the top and bottom rows. I still think this needs the LPB2 at the output Other notes, the 2K at the divider gives me just under 1,3V with 9V source, so 2K7 could be better candidate. Your input is greatly appreciated! Thinking about the divider it'd probably be better to do it with a single trimmer instead of two resistors then you can fine tune it exactly. Stupid links! Post by drewl » 14 Sep , Was that a kit like other heathkit stuff? Jimiphoton's video on DIY forum is pretty great, so I might have to try this one day.

Maybe I should start another thread for that.
