Guild wars 2 inventory
Things like bags, weapons, and armor can be equipped. Open your inventory with the D [I] key, and double-click on equipment to equip it.
By Muaziz. I have returned to the arms of GW2 after quite the hiatus many many months and I am in abit of a pickle. Even as I post this, I am reading, watching and trying to re-learn all of this myself but I do not want my motivation to play to be hampered by a wall of item management. I have been reading the wiki and numerous other online resources, however it's like handing someone a car service manual when they have forgotten how to drive xD the info is all there but I am still unable to get it into 1st. Maybe I can be happy comparing it to mine I recently started to consume all the bloodstone dust after reaching 30 stacks.

So here is a tip! All those items you can't use? You don't need to go to a vendor to sell it all off. Instead, you can do 2 things. Pick up your money when you visit the auction house in any city. Buy salvage kits from a vendor and use them to salvage items in your inventory into crafting materials, then hit "Deposit All Materials" in the top right of your inventory to instantly put all of those materials into your bank. You can use the materials in crafting, or sell them on the auction house by retrieving them from your bank. The salvage kits are usually sold by [Merchants].
I block the sidebar frame in which it is shown.
I always run out of inventory space in any MMO I play. The main problem is that I love to craft and quest and always have a ton of those items on hand. Here are some things I've found out about GW 2 to help me plan my storage space. You can have of each crafting item stored. Per Character 20 slot starter backpack Four bag slots You can have up to 5 characters Bags Basics 4 slot bags can be purchased from vendors for 32 copper 8 slot bags can be made by crafters tailor, leatherworker, armorsmith with 20 tier 1 materials jute scrap, rawhide scraps, copper ore Each tier of crafting makes a higher quality bag 10 slots, 12 slots, 14 slots, etc. In addition to raw materials, these higher level bags require an increasingly expensive vendor item called runes of holding. Specialty Bags All three professions can make invisible bags which don't show up when selling to merchants Tailors can make slot Craftsman's Bags New crafting materials are placed here first when looting Leatherworkers can make slot Oiled Leather Packs Junk items are placed here first when looting Armorsmiths can make slot Reinforced Padded Equipment Boxes Weapons and Armor Fill this bag First Gem Store Upgrades Free Storage We start with 30 bank slots Each Character Starts with a starter pack and 4 bag slots maximum slots We can make 5 characters.
By Mal. Over a dozen items that you had to collect that served absolutely no purpose--you couldn't even sell them. They had some flavor text and that was it, you had to click and drag to destroy 17 or so items for no bloody reason. Who thought that was a good system?! This was incredibly annoying to a lot of people, which made it awesome to see these pointless achievement items fixed in Path of Fire; everything that goes into your inventory that's related to an achievement is either labelled as junk and quickly sells for some coin, or you can double click it, usually to get a bit of karma or something like that. Quality of life is always appreciated. So why the hell did the latest premier of Season 4 completely screw that up with the "That Belongs in a Museum" achievement items? The last story instance lets you collect a handful of items from Ancient Chests scattered about the map that spam your inventory with the same pointless items that you can't sell or double click for anything. Grinding is one thing, but forcing players to waste time deleting pointless items?

Visit any city to find a Master Craftsman and learn a trade. Learning trades lets you craft weapons or armor, or even cook foods that temporarily boost stats. Crafting is the process of turning component items, such as crafting materials , into equipment or consumables. There are nine different crafting disciplines, and initially only two can be active at a time on each character , but up to two more for a total of 4 may be added using Additional Crafting Licenses from the Gem Store. A character may swap between learned crafting disciplines by paying a small fee, dependent on how high their discipline level is. Crafted items usually look different from, but always have comparable attributes to, items of the same level and quality obtained through other methods, for example from loot or vendors. To learn a craft, speak to the relevant master craftsman ; they also answer basic questions and sell supplies for their craft. A character can only have two disciplines active at a time, or up to four with the purchase of Additional Crafting Licenses. They can pay a master craftsman to switch, at cost of 10 per level already attained in the target discipline. Taking on a new discipline is always free, while switching back to a maxed discipline at level costs

Without additional bag slots, you'll be wasting tons of time at banks, vendors, moving items, etc.
A bag is an item that increases the capacity of a character's inventory. They come in a variety of sizes, up to 20 inventory slots up to 32 with Path of Fire , and sometimes have special features.
