By Bronze Centipede. I'd say either minion master necromancer greatsword reaper or revenant condi renegade. Engineer has strong builds too, especially the new mechanist spec. IMO the only one you should avoid is Elementalist.

What is the Best Class for you in Guild Wars 2? This page will cover how each profession plays, both at a casual and a competitive level from PvE all the way to PvP. Note: we're going to use "class" and "profession" interchangeably since both are actively used by the GW2 playerbase to describe the same thing. Elementalists are masters of the elements. They're capable of strong damage per second or healing per second depending on playstyle.

The Guardian. In all seriousness, the Guardian profession in Guild Wars 2 is an excellent choice for players who just started playing Guild Wars 2. As you progress through the game and unlock Elite Specializations via the expansions, the Guardian becomes a versatile jack-of-all-trades that excels at dealing damage and supporting allies. As a Heavy Armored Profession , the Guardian can sustain a lot of damage. The Guardian also has a variety of defensive abilities that make it highly survivable in challenging situations. However, the Guardian does have two drawbacks: it lacks mobility and ranged abilities. It relies heavily on strong, melee-focused attacks, which can take a while to execute and may make the profession feel somewhat slow at times. Nevertheless, the Guardian is an extremely solid choice and perhaps the best option if you only want to play one profession. The Thief may not be the best choice for players seeking a versatile profession, as it primarily focuses on dealing damage to a single target and only offers support abilities with the Specter Elite Specialization. The Engineer can fulfill both support and damage — dealing roles , but it is more complex to play than the Ranger. Nonetheless, the Engineer can still provide support and deal significant damage without requiring an Elite Specialization or expansion. The Ranger , on the other hand, is the most suitable option among the medium armor professions. It can deal damage and is particularly effective in solo play.

I would like to ask which class is, in your opinion, the easiest to play, while bringing something to the team, so a boomer like me can be useful without needing to much skills. For open world PvE, all classes have the ability to be played without having much skill. Its less about the learning class mechanics and more about learning the monsters and world around you and having the proper gear.

By Sakiboj. Hi, what is easiest and most fun class to play? I like range but i would go with melee if it's fun. Easiest classes for beginners are probably standard archetypes such as warrior only one F1 key , guardian mostly unused F keys except on firebrand , and ranger basically the hunter spec with a pet. If you only have core game or aren't going to venture into expansions I don't recommend necromancer nor ranger. If you want to play endgame content any of those works, however guardian is by far the most favored in both PVE and World versus World. If you play ranger you will want to not develop terrible habits such as letting the pet tank for you and it generally isn't highly regarded in WvW due to these bad habits. GW2 isn't a ranged focused game, so don't let descriptions fool you. The places that ranger primarily attacks from range are more or less PVP exclusively , if you camp shortbow it is strictly worse than using weaponswap.

I would like to have some advices for playing DPS role on current meta. Everything is viable in large part of the game. It isn't great build for anyone who wants a challenge, but if you really want something simple, that is it. If you bring a decent build anything will do. Hi everyone.

February 4, Don't overthink or try intentionally play something for a specific reason, elites all vary in difficulty even in the same proffession. Guardian has a lot of passive buffs that make you do more than what you are actually doing. The Mirage elite specialization focuses on clones, dueling, and damage while allowing the Mesmer to dodge while casting skills. Off-hand weapon choice is really preferential, personally I like Focus, but Dagger will give you an extra source of Bleed and Warhorn can be a good option too with it's life siphon and daze. Ranger — you have a personal tank pet , it's the best thing to avoid damage. If you are a beginner enjoy the ride while taking the time to learn each new skill and trait. When is the Release Date?
