We'll be following the conversation and making further adjustments as needed. This release includes some updates to arcane skills. Arcane Blast and Arcane Wave have a bit too much overlap with each other, and we wanted to give Arcane Wave a more unique identity by adding a movement component.

We'll be following the conversation and making further adjustments as needed. As we mentioned in the last studio update blog, the primary goals for this update are:. Catalyst's quickness isn't provided by utility skills, but we felt like it could still benefit from a usability improvement. We've updated Spectacular Sphere to grant quickness from any jade sphere instead of only the air sphere, which should give catalyst players a bit more flexibility with their skill rotations. We've also made some improvements to tempest damage builds with an update to Tempestuous Aria, as well as some general improvements for offhand dagger and for the weaver in PvP. Mechanist's penalty for being too far from its mech is something that we've been keeping an eye on since it was added to the game. We think there's room for improvement, and in this update, we're changing the penalty from a mech stat reduction to an increased cooldown for the mech command skills.

Among these changes are new duration caps for each boon and condition, a rework of the retaliation and resistance boons, and a reversal to the bonus-damage state of the torment condition. Torment will now deal bonus damage to targets that are standing still instead of to moving targets. The retaliation boon has long been a pain point, both in PvE and PvP. In other words, resolution helps reduce damage from bleeding, poisoned, burning, torment, and confusion, while resistance lets you temporarily ignore blinded, chilled, crippled, fear, immobilized, slow, taunt, vulnerability, and weakness. Duration-stacking boons and conditions now behave consistently. They directly stack durations added from all sources, do not have hidden stack limits, and generally have shorter maximum durations. With most nondamaging condition durations stacking to a maximum of 10 seconds, we aim to reduce situations in which players can become stuck in combat because of a long-duration condition, preventing them from using their mount.

Carnivore: This trait has been added to the grandmaster tier slot previously held by Empathic Bond. To preserve encounter balance, Cerus's total health has been adjusted. Arcane Power: This skill no longer grants bonuses to allies. Considering that we have 3 healing skills with access to Regeneration already this is unnecessary. Might I suggest buffing up the initial heal or the regen coefficient on Well of Blood as a compensation? Weaver Bolstered Elements: This trait now causes stances to grant protection instead of barrier. Guardian The guardian changes for this update are focused on improving some underutilized skills and traits for both core guardian and willbender. This skill now grants a flat amount of ferocity for 5 seconds instead of the ferocity bonus being linked to the critical-strike stacks. Rust Frenzy: Players can now move while casting this skill. Fixed an issue that prevented the achievement Follow the Magic from properly tracking progress.
