The hydros on the 1 and 2 aren't amazing anyway if I'm honest, they're ok but not anything special. Other differences are the gear selectors and rear deraileur, ie the 1 has the Deore selectors you can click either way to change gear whereas the 2 has the standard jobbies you can only click one way.
