A permission contract is required to reprint or reproduce material from HarperCollins US books. If you wish to submit a permission request, please read the following guidelines carefully. If the material you wish to excerpt is attributed to another source, person or institution, please contact the cited party. If the book you are using as a source is a paperback, please check the copyright page to see if it was published by arrangement with another publisher. If so, that publisher likely produced the original hardcover edition and you will need to contact them. You will not be obligated to pay the fee if you choose not to use the selection and cancel your contract. We accept permissions requests through the online portal only. We do not accept requests by mail or email. Please allow approximately weeks from date of receipt for your request to be processed and do not submit duplicate requests. Our goal is to complete your request within the stated turnaround but our response time may vary with the volume of our business. Our processing does accommodate the timelines of film and television production companies. We are not able to provide fee quotes before reviewing requests.
While we do publish a line of emergent readers, we do not typically publish children's books. Some editorial correspondence, original contracts, promotional materials, and original artwork for a given title also appear in this series.
