Well I will be in Milano on 1 June 39 years to the day since my first Bruce gig so looking forward to seeing what this is all about, greasy lake the circuit. I'll be at the second Milan show june 3would love to participate in any type of audience display. Been watching the original "our love is real" video to get hyped! As should be fairly obvious to regular users, the community just received a much needed facelift. I do hope you like it, but I also understand that change can be difficult. But trust me when I say that this is not only change for the sake of change. Our new theme was made professionally and is therefore much higher quality than my own homemade effort. And with its frequent updates, it removes the tedious and complex task of having to constantly update the theme with every new version of the software A task which incidentally I have more often than not neglected to do altogether, resulting in a message board that just doesn't feel up-to-date and is not doing justice to what the underlying software is capable of. Please note that there is still a dark and light version of the theme, and that you can now choose a different background if you so desire.

The Rising I came to appreciate more in hindsight, at least as an album - live I was instantly on board with most of the songs. It's a great piece of work, but it is overlong. If it was edited it could be more topic specific and then those extant songs could have been added as a bonus disc. A mostly solid album followed by an excellent tour, but the media hype surrounding its release was a bit too much. Over the years the album has deteriorated in my rankings. Also I think it could have greatly benefitted from being a song album rather than Which songs to omit has been discussed before here, but I have my three! And what a great tour it was! And a tour with a setlist build around the new album. The early shows were short shows, 22 songs; and 11 of the 22 songs were Rising songs. Rising songs were dropped as the tour progressed as usual on every tour since but even the last U.

At least Bruce hasn't tried to dream up some bullshit theme for the album and admitted that its a bits and pieces releases.
