The Graf von Faber-Castell Pen of the Year series is an annual limited edition that experiments with materials and techniques for decorating the barrel and is the pinnacle of the Graf von Faber-Castell collection. Each design is produced for one year only and each pen is unique - a hand-made work of art. Since when the series was conceived, materials have included snakewood, amber, stingray leather, mammoth ivory with ebony, petrified wood, satinwood and horsehair.
