I've seen numerus posts here and elsewhere about how to deal with the known GoPro overheating issue. But here's my problem. I do extended recordings in warm conditions, gopro overheating.

Has anyone already done a test regarding the recording length of a video? My camera is switching off already after 22 Minutes because overheating Problem. Recording times and camera overheating are two different things. Camera's will overheat any camera if it's set up incorrectly for the shooting environment. For instance you said that your camera turned off after 22 minutes at 5. You didn't mention however where you were filming indoors, outdoors, in bright sunshine, in the shade you didn't mention if you had your camera static mounted on a tripod, sitting on a bench etc. You didn't mention if you had Hypersmooth on autoboost, turned off etc. The online support numbers were an estimation of battery life for a camera set up correctly and shooting in optimal conditions.
