Glass bottle decoration with clay

Well, looky here! I finally got my painted bottle project finished.

Use it to make a lovely wine themed decor piece instead. It only takes a few inexpensive art supplies and an empty wine bottle to create this unique piece of art. You can do this, I promise! When I brought this home my son asked me where I bought it, he said it was gorgeous. He kept asking me where I bought it.

Well, looky here! I finally got my painted bottle project finished. But I tried again…this time with spray primer first…and it worked out beautifully. After I painted them, I wanted to do some sort of something on them to make them look old…or textured…or both. So I ended up using white spray paint to lightly mist the bottles, and then I followed that with a light splatter effect. It almost gives the look of stone, and it also gives the bottles a beautiful texture. So doing this with white paint was a first for me, but I really like the effect. And as you can see, I also added little polymer clay flowers to the bottles. I made this using the same method I used for the polymer clay flower artwork , but this time I made the three different sizes of flowers and then layered them on top of each other to create a much fuller flower.
