At the same time, not everything in the revival worked with Rory's arc coming in for criticism , and that it happened at all required a lot of the Gilmore Girls cast 's schedules coming together. It remains to be seen whether there will ever be another revival but, if it does happen, then there's at least one mistake from A Year in the Life it would need to avoid.
