O yea, after reinstalling the OS, you will have to reinstall everything again, since your comp will be like new. What exactly is SP3? It's out a while already. I'm not sure what the problem is. I've run with vsync forced off on multiple machines for years and have never experienced any problems as a result of it. You need a modified inf file which contains your chipset. Good luck!
