Gatling dragon

Takara Tomy's Dragon is a right-spin DB Core that features the head and claws of a dragon, akin to its predecessors in the Dragon line. Like the Valkyrie 1 DB Core, Dragon features a gimmick: when struck by an opponent, a built-in spring mechanism causes the DB Core to rebound, which allows a Dragon combination to perform Bound Attacks. While in theory this improves Attack potential, in practice this gimmick is to the detriment of an Attack combination, as the rebound, combined with strong impacts, can cause the combination to Burst. It is thus better suited in Defense and Stamina combinations, where the gimmick increases Defense. While Dragon is functionally similar to Valkyrie 1, it has stronger Burst Resistance and a more compressed spring. The more compressed spring of Dragon means it has a shorter rebound distance than Valkyrie 1, while retaining the defensive properties of the gimmick. In "Slashing Hit Mode", the dragon jaws are shut, and Gatling has a circular shape. When the "Consecutive Hit Mode" is activated, the dragon jaws open, and the movable blades retract inside Gatling , creating an elliptical shape. Despite its Attack Type classification, Gatling has a poor shape for right-spin Attack combinations, and only finds niche usage in Stamina combinations in Opposite-Spin matchups. Takara Tomy's 10 is an Armor with triangular shapes at ten points. This design creates a stable weight distribution and high Stamina, as its weight is evenly distributed among ten points. As such, it is highly versatile and one of the most useful Armors, and finds the most use in Defense and Stamina combinations.
