The team at La Bella Vita have been in business for well over a decade and they attribute their success in part to their great food, but mostly to their loyal customers who return for the food and family atmosphere. The attractive, modern decor of the restaurant lets the food take centre stage by using a monochromatic colour scheme with nods to its Italian roots through intricate tile walls and features an open kitchen, so the sights and smells of the delicious cooking by head chef Antonia can entertain you while you wait. Toasted homemade Italian bread topped with creamy ricotta cheese, dill and fresh chopped plum tomato. Dressed with basil oil. Deep fried squid rings, served with garlic mayonnaise and a wedge of lemon. Marinated king prawns, squid rings, baby octopus, Greenland prawns, New Zealand mussel, black olive and red peppers. Served on a bed of mixed salad leaves and Marie Rose sauce. Homemade chicken liver pate served with toasted Italian bread and a tangy apple, orange and cinnamon chutney.
