Candidates will be evaluated a minimum of two times during the program using the Disposition Assessment for Advanced Candidates which is a measure of non-academic dispositions that serve as indicators of candidate success in their educational programs and beyond to their career pathway. A candidate who scores below Effective 3 on any indicator will be required to meet wiht their advisor to develop a remediation plan to support the development of that disposition. The candidate will then be re-assessed the next semester in which they are enrolled. If the candidate continues to score below Effective 3 , a departmental committee will convene to disucss further remediation as deemed necessary or possible removal from the program. Disposition 1: - Communication: The candidate communicates clearly, effectively, and positively. Verbal and non-verbal communication skills convey respect, confidence, and enthusiam. Written communication is respectful, clear, and reflects the appropriate level of formality for the situation. Disposition 2 - Collaboration: The candidate works well with others. Collaborative relationships are successfully navigated. Collaborative relationships are purposefully developed to solve problems of practice. Learning is viewed as a lifelong endeavor. Professionalism is fundamental to lifelong success.

Blackboard Ultra is the newest Blackboard platform that offers an intuitive interface and accessible content. You can benefit from its responsive design to build learner-centered courses. The Base Navigation provides quick access to important information and improves user interactions to create an engaging learning experience. FHSU is in the process of transitioning from the original Blackboard to the, more dynamically featured, Ultra Experience. Many courses have already been successfully developed and delivered in Ultra and the plan is to have a gradual migration of all Blackboard courses fully transitioned by Fall To ensure a smooth conversion process, we are working closely with Blackboard and their partners on an automated, software-based conversion process. The first step has been to map the structure of our current courses and develop pathways to create easily navigable and highly functional Ultra Experience courses. To this end we have been meticulously monitoring a sample of 10 current courses as they move through the conversion process. The review process includes ensuring multimedia, links, content, and course structure all transition over seamlessly. Once the heavy lifting of the course pilot is complete, Blackboard, and their conversion partner K16, have offered us the opportunity to perform the automated transition process on additional courses to initiate the campus-wide conversion process.
