Log In Sign Up. How do I recover them? My friend just came over and decided to start his own save file. He just left, and about half of my save files were missing. I don't know why.

I've not played fallout in a while and I'm not done with it yet. However, my game has come to a halt because of a crash I'm getting. I detailed it in this thread. I have tried almost everything to try to fix it; mods, waiting it out to see if it would fix itself, going to a different area, verifying my game cache, etc. However, I have not tried uninstalling and reinstalling. But, I do not want to lose my progress. Where can I find my save files in my computer? I would like to move them to a place where they won't be deleted. Last edited by Huntah ; 3 Nov, am.

With numerous divergent plot points, questing options and play-styles, accumulating plenty of "Fallout: New Vegas" save files isn't hard. Deleting your excess save files periodically can keep your "Load" menu from becoming a disorganized mess, especially if you have multiple characters. Each version of the game handles save files differently, primarily related to how the machines themselves store and manage the save data.
